The Campaign Against the Return of the Marcoses and Martial Law (CARMMA) is a campaign network of martial law and human rights violations victims, civil libertarians, peace & freedom advocates, human rights and people’s organizations.
This 2022 elections, which comes during the 50th year commemorating the imposition of Marcos’ martial law, with the audacious bid of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for the presidency and with the still possible run of Sara Duterte, as well as various key and close allies of the Dutertes and Marcoses in the running, the CARMMA seeks to:
frustrate the return of the Marcoses and Dutertes to highest executive posts;expose and oppose their fascist policies and anti-people governance;counter the various lies and disinformation by the two dynasties to evade accountability and towards their political rehabilitation; andpromote the people’s vision for alternative governance.

Create posts condemning the atrocities of Duterte and the Martial Law using the #NotoDuterteMarcos2022 #NeverAgain #NeverForget.
ON THE GROUND: Talk and hold active discussions with your family, friends, neighbors and community members on the need to oppose the return of the Marcoses and Dutertes to Malacanang in the 2022 elections. Put up tarpaulins, help reproduce and distribute fliers and other materials - which we will release soon! Initiate or join CARMMA activities in your locality.
